QTech Tip Extension iQ Valve & Swivel 7/8" - Eliminates Spitting

The QTech iQ Valve Swivel is a highly specialised and innovative accessory designed to be used in conjunction with airless spray gun tip extensions, offering a significant improvement over traditional setups. It's not just a swivel; its a combination of a valve and a swivel that addresses common issues encountered when using long tip extensions.

The iQ Valve tackles the common problem of spitting and splattering at the start and end of a spray pass, particularly when using longer extensions. It works by by bringing the shut off valve from the gun directly to the nozzle and is often compared to the Graco Cleanshot Valve.

Designed to be attached to the end of an airless spray gun tip extension, between the extension and the Tip Guard.

Eliminates Spitting/Splattering - This is the primary and most significant advantage. In a standard setup with an extension, the paint inside the tip extension can drain back slightly after the trigger is released. When the gun is triggered again, this air gap causes a momentary burst of air and then a surge of paint, leading to an inconsistent spray pattern, spitting and an undesirable finish.

Swivel Feature - The integrated swivel is a key component that allows the nozzle to rotate up to 180 degrees. This provides greater flexibility and ergonomic comfort, making it easier to spray in hard to reach areas.
