What's the difference between ready mixed, power, and two-part fillers?
Ready Mixed Explained
These are pre-mixed and ready to use straight out of the tub. They are convenient for smaller repairs and can be directly applied to the surface. Once opened they last up to 12 months.
Powder Explained
These need to be mixed with water to form a paste before application. They are often used for larger repairs as they are generally more cost effective than ready mixed fillers.
Two-Part Explained
Two part fillers consist of a base and a hardener that need to be mixed together before application. They provide a strong and durable repair and are ideal for use on rotten wood or broken joints. Their fast drying time also make them ideal for quick repairs that need to be painted the same day.
