MSP is a self priming, self undercoating paint. This proven, water-based multi surface paint offers a durable finish, and can be applied to almost any surface without a separate primer. Available in Matt, Satin and Gloss sheen levels. Tintable to most colours.

SURFACE PREPARATION

  • Ensure the surface is clean, dry, and free from dust. wax, and grease. Lightly sand the surface to provide a key for better adhesion. Remove any loose paint or varnish.

  • Fill any holes or scratches with a suitable filler, and sand smooth once fully dry.

PRIMING & TOP COATING

  • If the furniture has been previously waxed, varnished, or contains any knots, then prime with one full coat of Zinsser BIN Shellac Primer.

  • For bare wood and all other surfaces, apply one full coat of Bedec Multi Surface Paint thinned by up to 10% with clean water to seal the surface and improve paint adhesion. Apply a second coat for optimal durability, allowing adequate drying time between coats. Sand lightly between coats with a fine grade sandpaper, removing dust after with a damp cloth or dust brush.

Additional Tips:

  • For an ultra fine finish, spray application is recommended.

  • Clean brushes and equipment with warm, soapy water immediately after use

  • Ideal application conditions are temperatures between 15°C and 25°C and relative humidity below 80%
